A Little About Us...
While employed as a taxidermist for the Royal Ontario Museum, Peter Knapton was able to further develop his love for art and particularly sculpture. It was the launching of a dream for him to own a Canadian business offering quality life-sized animal mannikins and supplies for the taxidermy trade. By combining his talent, hard work and persistence, Knapton Studios was formed in 1984 and with the support of family and long-time staff, this Canadian based taxidermy supply company has been able to continue to offer quality products.
