A Little About Us...

While employed as a taxidermist for the Royal Ontario Museum, Peter Knapton further developed his love for art and particularly sculpture. This brought about a business plan to offer quality Life sized Animal Mannikins and supplies for the taxidermy trade. Peter's plan began to develop and through his talent, hard work and persistence, Knapton Studios was formed. A much needed, Canadian-based, taxidermy supply and Ontario Animal Mannikin making company began in 1984.

Over the years, family and great staff members have added their own special touches to making ON Animal Mannikins for Sale and this company productive and successful. Also with the encouragement of people such as Forest Hart, Dale Knobloch, Joe Coombs and a very supportive customer base Knapton Studios has continued to grow and serve an ever-widening clientele. Much thanks goes out to all these people for their on-going affiliation and support.
